New Delhi: Let’s start this round by being cute. US Congresswoman Alexanderia Ocasio-Cortez took a break from her usual impassioned political tweets to post this adorable clip.

On a more serious note, Mohammed Salim, CPI (M) leader, jumped to the defense of journalist Ravish Kumar, this year’s Ramon Magsaysay award winner, when filmmaker Ashoke Pandit referred to him as the “Hafiz Saeed of Indian media”.

Looks like Jairam Ramesh, Congress Rajya Sabha MP, is a stickler for constitutional terminologies or simply nitpicking. Take a look at his fact-checking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet.

Sharmistha Mukherjee of the Congress was most alarmed by what she saw outside her window ledge, up in the hills. Guess who came visiting?

Anil Vij, Haryana BJP minister, publicly declared why he, for one, is not scared of Congress’ Haryana bigwig Bhupinder Hooda.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kerjiwal is definitely experiencing a meltdown. Read how soft and mushy the Lokpal Bill warrior is now.

Is another prominent Congress politician on his way to jail? BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga seems to think so.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav shot off a report card on the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh and it doesn’t make happy reading …

Shashi Tharoor, meanwhile, discarded his Nehru-jacket-kurta combo for something a little more comfortable — see for yourself.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Pakistan’s science and technology minister, is at it again. After insulting India’s space programme, he’s now insulting our intelligence with this allegation that India has a role to play in the Sri Lankan cricket team’s decision to not tour Pakistan.
