New Delhi: US President Donald Trump called London Mayor Sadiq Khan a “stone cold loser” just as his plane landed in Stansted for an official state visit to the UK. Khan and Trump have been engaged in a feud since 2015 with both exchanging a volley of insults — an inter-continental spat that culminated in Khan allowing protesters in London to fly a huge, orange baby Trump balloon. Remember?

Newly elected BJP MP Giriraj Singh from Begusarai, Bihar, took offense at Nitish Kumar’s iftar party pictures, saying it would have looked better if he celebrated navaratri in the same manner. A celebration is a celebration, right Giriraj ji?

Union Minister Babul Supriyo alleged that Trinamool Congress had released the mobile numbers of BJP ministers and was getting its workers to call them up with slogans of “Mamata Banerjee Zindabad”. He’s countering this by saying “Get Well Soon Mamata Didi”. And we say, get down to work, mantri ji.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri posted an old photograph of himself standing at what he calls the ‘Lakshman Rekha’ before boarding a chopper. Well, now that you are onboard, hope you get the aviation sector to take flight, sir.

AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon responded to Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi’s tweet in which she attacked the AAP for announcing free rides for women – she had cited the Nirbhaya rape case that took place in a bus to drive home her point. The AAP leader, however, reminded Chaturvedi that Nirbhaya was raped in a “private” bus and that is exactly what Delhi government wants to discourage. It’s bad taste to drag Nirbhaya into petty politics.

Mumbai Congress president Milind Deora also criticised AAP government’s announcement of free travel for women in metro and buses, saying freebies are temporary solutions. Of course, you are right, Mr Deora, but everybody loves a freebie, right?

BJP national spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi is already posing for yoga day that falls on 21 June — albeit with photograph poses. Take a look.

CPI general secretary Sitaram Yechury has woken up after the humiliating defeat his party suffered in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. And, in the true Leftist fashion he attacks the corporates for bank frauds. We like this never say goodbye spirit, Mr. Yechury.

Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot shared his experience during an iftar party at his boss Ashok Gehlot’s residence. He prayed for brotherhood, happiness, prosperity and peace. Gehlot, however, doesn’t seem to be feeling very brotherly – he said Pilot should take responsibility for Gehlot’s son Vaibhav’s electoral defeat from Jodhpur in the Lok Sabha elections.

In translation: Attended the fast Iftar today at the residence of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot Ji.
I pray that this blessed month of brotherhood brings happiness, prosperity, peace, and happiness in the lives of all of you.

Newly elected BJP MP from East Delhi seat Gautam Gambhir seems to be missing his own absence at the 2019 World Cup so much that he’s hitting out at all comers. This time it’s Peoples Democratic Party’s Mehbooba Mufti for her criticism of Home Minister Amit Shah.
