A one-stop portal for buyers, sellers, Government e-Marketplace has user-friendly support system

The Government e-Marketplace is an online portal aimed at letting buyers and sellers interact with each other, and bid for services or products. Tenders are listed on the website, and interested service providers then bid on them.

For this, the government has created a complete online portal with all the important facilities required for trades to occur properly. There is a page on which the parties can register themselves, providing all the legal compliance details as required.

Another very useful facility that can be noted right on the front page of the portal is the login support option. When we open the portal’s sign-in form, we see an option called ‘Raise a Ticket’. That option allows you to get help in case you’re having any trouble related to the portal’s operation. You can find more details about GeM Login here.

Once you click on the ‘Raise a Ticket’ option, you are redirected to a support page, where you will find a form for support ticket generation. In this form, you have to provide very basic details, and you can then submit it to get support.

Suppose you are having some problem with the registration on the marketplace. In that case, you will have to first fill in your email address in the form there.

Once you have filled in the email details, you need to provide your full name and mobile number for support.

Next, you will have to choose the issue type. In the issue type option, you will see a dropdown menu with multiple options to choose from. Since we are trying to get help related to registration, we will choose that option.

In the next part, provide the subject of your complaint and then provide all the details you can regarding the issue. Submit the form ,and then you will get a response from one of the support agents.

Recently, Engineers India Limited (EIL) and GeM ( Government e-Marketplace) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) together for better procurement of goods and services.
