Microsoft to invest 4.3 billion euros in Italy for AI infrastructure and cloud capacity

MILAN (Reuters) – Microsoft said in a statement on Wednesday it would invest 4.3 billion euros ($4.75 billion) over the next two years to strengthen artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and cloud capacity in Italy.

The investment will be the company’s largest in Italy to date, Microsoft added.
