Women judges are only 14%, but there is no mention of what is the % of women in judiciary and what was the trend in that? Without mentioning the entrants in to profession, expecting there should be 50-50 representation is insane. The argument would partially make sense if there are equal number for senior women lawyers and men lawyers eligible for being judges, But even then, it should be contest of merit , not body parts. And i don’t see any article mentioning how increasing women judges will improve judiciary. It seems to be one of those woke arguments that we just have to blindly believe in and not question.
