Particularly well made is the point that when Muslims make up 15% of the population but only 3.68% of graduates, it is perfectly understandable and logical that Muslims will make up only 3-5% of civil services cadres! This underlines the imperative need to focus on getting more Muslim children into mainstream schools, from which they may move on to graduate and thereby progressively increase their presence among the civil service cadres. That’s the crux of the issue. Let us not be swayed by the rabid ravings of the loonies who fatten themselves by pitting Muslims and Hindus against one another.
Why is the educated percentage so low in Muslim communities ?Economically weaker sections in hindus , have better percentage of educated folks than those of same strata in muslims. There are stories of poor hindu parents trying to educate their children. i am yet to hear similar stories about muslims. Only education can change the state and status quo for anyone.
If one has a bonafide aspiration to join civil service it is one thing. In this case, it seems that the Muslim candidates for civil service exams are trained by Institutes which are financed by Zakat. One wonders, if these candidates succeed and become civil servants, whom will they obey, and whoses orders and directions they will follow – of the duly elected government, or their masters abroad who want to take over the so-called “Steel Framework” of Indian Government?
So what do we expact from the officers trained by institute sponcered by RSS, to whom they will loyal because untill recently RSS does not recognise the tricoloure as national flag…
