For the last 11 years, Nehru has been constantly blocking my efforts and causing the fiascos that are my many yojanas and abhiyans. He is the reason most of my initiatives turn into disasters.

The EPS-95 pension scheme designed during Narashima govt at the Centre , probably mischievously on the theory of Communist ideology as the govt’s survival was then at the mercy of the left parties , has been the worst one and has given the most wretched blow to the work force who toiled and have been toiling for making India what it is now . The IAF’s strike at Balakot is of much lower intensity than what the Cong govt’s blow to the workforce in the name of EPS-95 has given . We hope the Hon’ble Supreme Court will bring us the justice back as the present Govt’s intent is very much clear when it allowed the Insurance sector employees another opportunity to exercise their option for their Establishment’s original pension plan . Let us hope for the best .
Pension and insurance are two subjects I cannot even begin to understand. However, it does seem ironic that the government is taking on the responsibility to provide pensions to the general population, even as it is moving beyond pensions for its own employees. Sooner or later, the government will have to find a sustainable solution for army pensions as well, which are now about one trillion a year. 2. MGMG was a promise made in 2014. Instead, the maze of government seems to have overcome the incumbent’s reformist instincts as well.
