However, it does seem ironic that the government is taking on the responsibility to provide pensions to the general population, even as it is moving beyond pensions for its own employees. Sooner or later, the government will have to find a sustainable solution for army pensions as well, which are now about one trillion a year. 2. MGMG was a promise made in 2014.
