Taxation is necessary – voting for Congress or BJP won’t change the reality that GST was going to become reality and that these companies would have a choice of either PAY taxes or lose business.
The only “CHOICE” they have is – will they have a govt that collects taxes and spends it responsibly and honestly or one that steals your money and swindles the tax payer.
Never saw a chartered accountant earlier. It means khao, pio aur mauj karo. Have big houses, bungalows, cars and barely pay taxes. Of course, now he has to buy and sell in white so he has to pay taxes. Means he is angry. I am not sure if Media wale wants to project this as a good tax compliance news or shows shop owners/traders as victims of GST. We all cry foul of so less population paying taxes or being corrupt. But when GOI takes a step or action, we also cry foul…it does not work both ways.
