Wangchuk was detained under NSA on 26 Sept after protests demanding statehood & Sixth Schedule protection for Ladakh turned violent. He was accused of instigating the violence.
Angmo has challenged Wangchuk’s detention in top court. Solicitor General says grounds disclosed to Wangchuk himself, no provision in law requires detaining authorities to share with family.
