The Axiom-4 mission, which marks the return to spaceflight for India, Poland & Hungary, was earlier scheduled to lift off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old is the pilot for the upcoming Axiom-4 Mission to the ISS. Over the last few months, Shukla has been trained on the Crew Dragon capsule’s manual control systems.
Shukla will pilot the Ax4 Mission to International Space Station on 10 June, and will be the first Indian to visit & conduct research on the Space Station in its 25 years of existence.
