CM Amarinder Singh has credited election strategist Prashant Kishor with Congress’ 2017 success, and said he wanted him back for the next Punjab polls.
Kishor also worked for the party in the previous Assembly election in MP. He would help the party in candidate selections and poll issues, Sharma added.
With ally BJP standing in total obeisance, RJD-Congress in disarray, and TINA factor helping him, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar looks all set to return. So why is Bihar still on edge?
Sashwat Gautam, poll strategist working for Congress, has alleged that content for Prashant Kishor’s 'Baat Bihar Ki' campaign was plagiarised from his 'Bihar Ki Baat' initiative.
While Congress leaders played up his association with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the RJD, which has never really liked him, had some warm words for the election strategist.
The Italian term sprezzatura—a studied nonchalance that conceals intention—best captures the spirit of Trump’s foreign policy so far. The pattern is unpredictability, transactionalism, and disruption as diplomacy.
With 20.2 percent of its total loans in default by the end of last year, Bangladesh had the weakest banking system in Asia. Despite reforms, it will take time to recover.
This world is being restructured and redrawn by one man, and what’s his power? It’s not his formidable military. It’s trade. With China, it turned on him.

“The I-PAC is best known for bringing Narendra Modi and the BJP to power in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, and several parties in the states thereafter”. Really ? The reasoning is as fallacious as saying the marriage is the cause of divorce ! Please stop giving the tent-house owner the credit for the wedding. Modi and Amarinder Singh came to power due to a multitude of reasons – latter had the benefit of anti incumbency of a double tenure by Akalis. The former had the similar advantage against UPA’s two tenures. Mahagathbandhan won in Bihar because Nitish Kumar took a strategic decision to dump BJP and align with RJD. Uttar Pradesh had none of these factors, that is why I-PAC could help congress win only 7 seats out of 425. I-PAC is one of the multiple support-logistic arrangements.
Your and of many other friendly clan’s undeserved praise has probably confused him. Now he is oscillating between being a tent-owner (in West Bengal) and the (groom in Bihar). He should also come clean about his integrity. Having been in Nitish’s party as a Vice President, he criticizes his leader and his policy. Must not be the case. He should have the guts to resign first and then criticize. May be he is taking cue from Yashwant Singh.
