Bihar is blessed with a land more fertile for revolutions than any in India. Why has it fallen so far behind then? Constant obsession with politics is at the root of its destruction.
Madam we expect three things from the Indian government. Firstly there should be a truth and reconciliation commission that highlights the atrocities upon the Hindus done during years of Congress NC rule in terms of appeasing muslims.
Secondly there should be human interest stories and pieces that highlight the woes of individuals. This has been a consistent action of the left wing ecosystem. This needs to be done by BJP and the right. Grand actions like Kashmir Files are good but focus on the small too. Showcase how these things happened to individuals. People are still earning money doing human interest stories on Gujrat riots blaming them on Hindus in spite of the Supreme Court decision. Why cant BJP do the same?
Thirdly new laws need to be made to address the reversal of these atrocities. Just as there is reservation to address centuries of Dalit oppression, there should be reservation for Hindus and other minorities in Kashmir to reverse the century of constant oppression. Also the Muslims in the valley need to be shown the realities of atrocities done in their name. Like it was done in Germany after World War 2.
One could say that a centre vs states issue might arise in these laws but reservations are done centrally. This needs to be done centrally too.
