I think that the author of this article is making a very valid point and one that needs to be understood by those outside of Assam and the Northeast. By writing such negative comments you are only proving your ignorance about the Northeast, its peoples and its concerns. Please become more aware of your countrymen.
The writer is confused, Islamists hate Hindus and those who support them. His communsl politics ranting exposes him, can he take the name of AIUDF and it’s politics of communalism.
On one side the author says “The Assamese people are dealing with twin demons – the Citizenship Act as well as the communal politics of the BJP and the RSS,” and on other side he says that the Assam agitation is not about Hindu – Muslims. He seems to be living in his own make and believe world. He must know that hatred for BJP and RSS and Islamists are not separable.
No one cares about us. Centre dictates us and northeast has become dumping ground for illegal immigrants and sub standard Indian goods

If the Author cared to read the VAB it is not applicable to Assam.
