The medical report of labour rights activist Nodeep Kaur was submitted in the Punjab & Haryana HC, which will take up the matter of alleged police torture in April.
In her bail plea, the activist, arrested last month for allegedly extorting money from industrialists, had claimed to have been severely beaten up Haryana Police.
Kaur, who was arrested by Haryana Police last month, claims to have been severely beaten by police and that her medical examination was not conducted in 'utter violation' of law.
Nodeep comes from a family of vocal women activists associated with Left groups. She joined Mazdoor Adhikar Sangathan soon after she got a job at a bulb factory in Kundli.
