NCC did great work in the past for the nation whether it was Indo -pak war of 1965 & Indo -pak war of 1971 , NCC cdts were second line of defense .They organized camp to assist ordnance factories , supplying arms and ammunition to the front and also were used as patrol parties to capture enemy paratroopers . The NCC cdts also worked hard in front with the civil defense autorities and actively took part in rescue work and or natural calamities. Now time sir of course we will do anything for save our country .Again when the epidemic like Corona hits the nation,As an ex-NCC cadet and a responsible citizen of India, I want to volunteer to be part of the initiative to fight against it.
yes ofcourse sir we will do our best for our country as soon as i permit to do so i will be there for all . but still my ANO not gave any information about this.
NCC senior division was always used in the past during national calamities even in the past even during wars atleast in 1965 and 1971 when external emergency was declared. I have myself along my batch mates in Delhi have done duty in Police station assitng in night patrol. We were allowed to enter Cinema theaters etc for checking. I remember having inspected Regal, Rivoli etc. We to report to Tughluck Road PS for duty allotment. As usual this government in using the servuces NCC cadets. With several units spread across they could have been used for patrolling and locating suspects people. Considering age gorup they are unlikely to be vunrable CV.
