There is no doubt that once the world has conquered the coronavirus pandemic, there will be a tectonic shift in the global balance of power. India cannot be a lone crusader.
Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu accused Pakistan of misusing NAM forum “to justify once again its long-standing policy of conducting cross-border terrorism”.
In May 1974, RSS chief Madhukar Dattatraya Deoras spoke at a lecture series in Pune about caste-based discrimination and social equality within the Hindu fold.

What Munir has achieved with Trump is a return to normal, ironing out the post-Abbottabad crease. The White House picture gives us insight into how Pakistan survives, occasionally thrives and thinks.
NAM is a terrible idea. Non alignment is a terrible idea. Being in NAM has not provided any benefit to India ever. It will not do so in the future either.
India is not at right stage of capability to join RCEP, also these trade blocks exclude services and free flow of personals where India is strong. India should not join without getting services and personal free flow agreed upon.
India is not ready to join the trade groups as it does not have great products to export. Exports need much-higher standards that can only come through a big technology upgrade, manufacturing skills of hi tech products. Just take smartphones as an exampleZ; India consumes ten times more than it produces. If you cannot feel bad about this distortion, there is no gain in joining any of these trade blocks. The corrupt system of leaders and babus is not conducive to make India competitive.
RCEP. SAARC. TPP. A very wholesome alphabet soup. For both security and economic development, south and south east Asia should be a basic building block of India’s greatness. EAM need not be talking to microscopic specks of land in the West Indies.
China has claims on vast India territories, always backs/shields Pakistan in any confrontation with India, vetoes any Indian proposal on terrorism and is dead against India’s entry in to security council. Unchecked and cheap Chinese imports have destroyed Indian manufacturing. In recent corona episode also, China hasn’t been transparent.
Taking all this in view, India will be better off aligning itself with US/Europe and attracting some industries in process of shifting from China. China is in itself and doesn’t have anything to offer to India.
It’s amazing that a senior RSS/BJP leader is having such pro China views.

The anti Modi title of the article does not match with the contents! Of course, for The Print, this is neither unusual nor surprising.
