National Medical Commission has asked students, faculty and institutions whether a single test can replace final year MBBS exams & entrance test for PG seats in medical colleges.
Case registered by agency’s anti-corruption branch in Kolkata on order of Calcutta High Court, which also came Wednesday in matter of Itisha Soren vs Union of India versus others.
Through a 20 September circular, the Union Health Ministry allowed MBBS candidates, who had appeared for NEET-PG, 2023, to opt for leftover seats in medical colleges. But has not got a favourable response as these seats are in non-clinical branches.
