It was the first time India had acted decisively. But the Pakistani forces who surrendered were responsible for genocide of Bengali people and rape of their women in mass. They were got released without any punishment. Why did India hand over them to Pakistan instead of Bangladesh?
This was the real big victory day for our country. But I don’t think our PM even mentioned it in any of his speeches. Nor was it, by any of the other BJP leaders!
