In the presentation, titled ‘Aniconic to the Iconic’, Jawhar Sircar explained how the evolution of a deity in Hinduism also alters the ways in which it is worshipped.

Jawhar Sircar had supported Mamata Banerjee during the state-Centre bureaucratic crisis that emerged before the Bengal polls, and even mobilised over 100 IAS officers to back her.
The claim that VB-GRAMG provides an employment guarantee is incorrect. The only guarantee is to 'empower' the Centre to allow partial implementation in notified areas alone.
