Why talk to the this Terror-istan at all..to sell some cotton & sugar worth few million dollars..I’m sure Indian establishment is much smarter & not going overboard to do so..This move has 0 geo-strategic or geo-economic advantage to India and will only give some breathing space for ISI to plan it’s next Uri or Pathankot
I don’t know why India is thinking of selling cotton to Pakistan when we know it tequires 22500 liters of water to produce one of of cotton also if we have excess of sugar we can keep it for coming years and reduce are under sugar cultivation it takes 2515 lits of water to produce one of of sugar

I’m not so sure, or rather pessimistic. Remember 1971 and Shimla Accord. What happened? India did concede on good faith (not fully drawing a full curtain on Kashmir). Pakistan continued to raise all sorts of objections including on semantics, till date. I may sound apocalyptic but between India and Pakistan, it looks like the Kurukshetra time of yore (the Kurus must be anihilated as adarmis, this is how Sri Krishna convince Arjuna). It may sound anodyne or cliché including being unacceptable to the libs. The India-Pakistan fight is not only about Kashmir. Behind this, remains a history of many centuries about who dominates whom? Hindus who claim as inheritors of Vedic/Sanskrit civilization vs. Muslims (at least those from UP and other Urdu speaking areas of pre-1947 undivided India + modern-day Panjab are highly unlikely to ever accept their Sanskrit/Indian heritage). Behind this, remains 1000 years of history of Muslim rule, even if by a fluke of history, a minority ruling over the majority over many hundreds of years. Please remember, Zinnah’s tergiversation pre-1947 for justifying Muslim League where he say the Muslims being legitimate heirs to rule over India), post British. You’ve here a majority who claim the Vedic civilization as anchor and another group who are equally adamant to reject. One of the group has to concede and to me, it has to be the Muslims – being minority but MOST IMPORTANTLY, to reclaim their roots. After all, overwhelming majority of them are local converts, no imports from Arabia/Middle East/Central Asia. Here, the Muslims must remember: besides Al Beruni and Darashikoh, no other Muslim over more than a thousand years ever tried to understand REALLY the Hindu/Sanskrit civilization in its own term. None. The Maulana (Azad) may come closest but yet not there (subjective opinion). Ultimately, it’s about two incompatible views about society, life
security and collective imagination as people/nation – so eloquently articulated by Zinnah, pre-1947 (in support of 2-natioon theory). People may accuse me as RSS ‘extremist’ or at least supporter. I’m none. I’m actually from Bangladesh and I’m doing it personally, based on what I understand.
This guy may have wrote what I think is the most disturbing thing at all. That basically we would just fight over who has the moral authority over the Indian subcontinent but the thing is he may be right as disturbing as it is, it has become clear that we just can’t trust each other anymore. The annihilation thing is a bit extreme though.
