After receiving support from the opposition Nepali Congress, K.P. Sharma Oli’s govt has moved an amendment to reflect its new map in the national emblem.
Nepal Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali said at a parliamentary committee they’re in constant touch with India as ‘we want to resolve the issue through diplomatic means’.
Army chief MM Naravane’s remark that KP Oli acted at the behest of someone else is damaging for the two armies in which he holds the rank of General, India and Nepal.
India and Nepal have been at odds since Kathmandu objected to a new road that connects Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh with the Lipulekh Pass, which the latter considers its own territory.
KP Oli does enjoy a better relationship with China. But New Delhi cannot blame the Nepal PM alone for not resolving the boundary dispute when the time was right.
Forget comparing it with classics like Hrithik’s Ek Pal Ka Jeena or the slick title track of Dhoom 2, Janaab-e-Aali does not even come close to Ghungroo.

Pro Hindutva organizations have always tried to impose their ideology on the people of Nepal.. The Nepalese have grown up & politically matured now.. So instead of behaving like an over-possessive big brother India must learn to treat Nepal as an equal partner
