The number of people who have recuperated from Covid surged to 93,88,159 pushing the national recovery rate to 94.98% while the Covid case fatality rate stands at 1.45%.
There are currently 4,43,486 active coronavirus cases in the country, comprising 4.85% of the total caseload. The Covid case fatality rate stands at 1.46%.
Union Health Ministry said Sunday the teams will support state efforts towards strengthening containment, testing, infection prevention, and efficient clinical management of Covid.
According to the Union Health Ministry data Sunday, the number of people who recovered surged to 78,68,968, pushing the national recovery rate to 92.49 per cent.
