During the debate on the bills, Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal said that the entire country is against the farm laws enacted by the Modi govt.
The President's assent to farm bills comes amid protests by farmers in Punjab and Haryana. Opposition parties also criticised the bills and the manner in which they were passed in Parliament.
The decision, announced by Sukhbir Badal, was taken at Akali Dal core committee meeting. Badal said govt didn't listen to the Akalis in honouring sentiments of farmers.
