I don’t agree with the view expressed by the Association …….better for the central government or the UPSC ….to allot the new cadre for at the time of promoting state officers….to the feeding cadre.
Second appointment in Election or other matter ….indeed they compromise the very interest of EC…but it wrong to say that directly recruited IAS officer do not compromise …..they too compromise and numerous examples are in public domain… In my opinion appointment should be based on merit not merely on recommendation ……

We are 50 Years too late to see Govt. Projects like this being Planned and Executed at this pace. Am sure many would remember ‘Dekhenge, Karenge…’ regime of Rajiv Gandhi.
Mr. Parrikar, may his soul rest in peace. Still a lot to be accomplished by Modi ji and Gadkari. India is looking up to them.
