Rekha Gupta is the ninth chief minister of Delhi, and the fourth woman to hold this position. She is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party and represents Shalimar Bagh as an MLA in the legislative assembly.

Gupta has previously served as councilor from North Pitampura and President of the Delhi University Students’ Union.
