It seems this mag has become a publication of the SC/ST organisations. Why there is no analysis of non-allocation of public money for rest of the society? Are they not citizens of India? For 75 years the nation has been terrorised by the ” SC/ST” angle being inserted in each and every thing except perhaps sporting standards. It is time to move ahead and stop abusing rest of the Hindus who more bothered about their own livelihood and educating their children by arranging for back-breaking caste-based fees.

Totally agree. It’s the 21st century and we are still in the 16th!! And this govt keeps dreaming about becoming a 5 trillion $ economy. India will never succeed unless and until every single citizen is fully enfranchised and contributes fully.
In 2016, there was a Congress government in Karnataka. In trying to write foolish a article, the writer should at least have his facts right.
I pray that on 2nd October 2022 – 2019 is now too close – there is not a single manual scavenger at work anywhere in India. There could be no practice more hurtful to human dignity. Mechanical alternatives are available. Even if more costly, these should be made mandatory. The caste system is one of the most pernicious exercises in social engineering in human history. It has turned me off Sanskrit and other similar manifestations for a lifetime.
