One thing many would appreciate from spokespersons is a little empathy. When citizens are getting burnt by fuel prices, it is time to say, We feel your pain, but … Not a time for arrogance and condescension. The other set of people who say divisive, inflammatory things, after a while, people begin to see them not as aberrations but as part of an orchestrated complex set of messages that are being sent out. Ultimately, the government will be judged by its work, but better communication would help.
They have very few who can articulate and hence using RSS people like Desh Ratan Nigam and others who no idea what they are talking. There is one panelist Bhandari founder of so called Janta Ka Reporter but always speak like BJP ka reporter.
