What is happening in BHU is sickening to say the least.
You think wrong! No devout Hindu would want to even learn Urdu, Muslim’s language, to qualify to teach in madrasas. Ask any of these BHU protesting students whether they would learn Urdu to teach in the madrasas. They would say, NO.
These are next generation bigots…. I am now feeling ashamed of being a graduate from BHU which once upon a time a seat of learning and spark of liberal thought in the hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh.
The teachers in schools and colleges lay foundations for our growth.Religion is personal and mixing up education is sure to hinder our growth.The scholars search beyond the unseen and unravel complex doses of wisdom.It is sad that every step in our nation now is being given a restricted religious tinge.Surely Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, a great teacher would be sad to watch our restricted vision.I know of a Brahmin Principal of Muslim High School near Chennai Triplicane who collected donations for building a school mosque to facilitate students to save time on Fridays and offer their noon prayers.Mixing religion in education is too unfortunate.Brigadier VAM Hussain(Retd)

I think Muslims can set an example by appointing devout Hindus as Teachers in madarsas .
