Disenfranchisement by institutional fiat is profoundly undemocratic. The effect of the ECI's new documentary process in Bihar will tilt the scales in favour of the BJP.
Mini deal will likely see no cut in 10% baseline tariff on Indian exports announced by Trump on 2 April, it is learnt, but additional 26% tariffs are set to be reduced.
India-Russia JV is also racing to deliver 7,000 more AK-203 assault rifles by 15 Aug. These are currently being made with 50% indigenisation and this will surge to 100% by 31 December.

The teachers in schools and colleges lay foundations for our growth.Religion is personal and mixing up education is sure to hinder our growth. The scholars search beyond the unseen and unravel complex doses of wisdom. It is sad that every step in our nation now is being given a restricted religious tinge.Surely Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, a great teacher would be sad to watch our restricted vision.I know of a Brahmin Principal of Muslim High School near Chennai Triplicane who collected donations for building a school mosque to facilitate students to save time on Fridays and offer their noon prayers.Mixing religion in education is too unfortunate.Brigadier VAM Hussain(Retd)
