Both the authors are from India Foundation and given their age , and even more impressive educational background; their perspective is largely the result of a Sanghi ideological construct. If the North East has not provided a fertile ground for Sangh ideology till recently, there were sound Non-ideological reasons for that. Nor is the Sangh ideology of such appeal that it will find a permanent home in the North East, as it has done in UP.
These are young kids, fumbling their way through TV debates and yet unsure of themselves. To honour them with a Book review must probably serve a political purpose to hold on to your image of an independent media unit, but little else.
