MPs cutting across party lines are opposing a provision in the Arms (Amendment) Bill that those who own more than one firearm will have to deposit the rest with authorities within 90 days.

In service with the British military since 2019, it is also known as the Martlet missile. Ukrainians have also deployed these missiles against Russian troops.
Education, reservations, govt jobs are meant to bring equality and dignity. That we are a long way from that is evident in the shoe thrown at the CJI and the suicide of Haryana IPS officer. The film Homebound has a lesson too.
This is not a fair practice Of The bill especially in reducing limit/number of weapons on one Arms license.
Government should amend this bill under Exemption with Only Extreme focus over the illegal Use of firearms and other Serious related issues for the same:-
Just like –
1) celebratory firing
2) illegal manufacturing
3) theft Or snatching of the same
4) imprisonment tenure

This article puts the point across very well. The other questions id like to pose to the govt,( cong / Bjp/ other) is what are their plans on eliminating illegal guns from our country? It seems some misguided people with a jaundiced world view have drafted these ill conceived amendments to the Arms Act 1959
Gov doesn’t seems to have its ear on ground.. gov shld promote law abiding citizens to arm themselves.. provide incentives..as criminals prey on weak defenceless
