Delhi govt notified the disease late Thursday evening after a spurt in mucormycosis cases. In all, 773 cases reported in the past week ending Thursday.
Delhi High Court said Amphotericin B is required to save lives of those suffering from Mucormycosis or black fungus and allowed its duty free import till Centre decides on waiver.
The claim that VB-GRAMG provides an employment guarantee is incorrect. The only guarantee is to 'empower' the Centre to allow partial implementation in notified areas alone.
