About the hanging of the rapists of Nirbhaya , death penalty should be abolished from indian statute books .Everybody , everybody ought to be given a second chance .

The incentive to provide good governance gets diminished when a formation decisively rejected by the people manages to retain power, as happened so clearly in Goa. 2. On a lighter note, a woman can be beautiful or chaste. Ideally, both. Nowadays both virtues are absent.
Whether one thinks of it as punishment or deterrent, this was a desirable outcome. The effort should be to bring cases to swift closure, as happened with Harvey Weinstein. Parliament could set an example by closing its doors to those accused of sexual crimes.
How can the parliament close its doors to those just because thy are accused of sexual offence? IT IS THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULDN’T VOTE FORM THEM! In the last election they elected 43% MPs with serious criminal charges against them, including sexual crimes, while rejecting good candidates with long record of public service. They even elected terror charged sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur with a big margin of more than 3 lakh votes!
