Mumbai, Jun 7 (PTI) AI-powered sports technology platform Kabuni on Sunday launched a global cricket coaching platform aimed at making elite-level training accessible to players of all backgrounds through real-time, personalised feedback.
Unveiled at the company’s Playtime 2026 event in Mumbai, the platform uses its proprietary Kabuni PlayOS technology to analyse live play and assess key aspects such as timing, balance, footwork and alignment, providing instant coaching insights that were previously available only at elite academies.
The company said the platform’s goal is to place a “world-class cricket coach in every player’s pocket” and encourage young people to spend more time playing sport and less time on passive screen activities.
Kabuni has also signed a group of celebrated cricketers, including Sourav Ganguly, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers and Shreyas Iyer, as its “Super Coaches”.
India has been chosen as the launch market before a planned global rollout later this year, with the company citing the country’s vast cricket-playing population and strong grassroots ecosystem. PTI APS APS PDS
