In our rapidly evolving society, the quest for health and wealth often seems like a choice between two paths. Many individuals aspire to achieve both but find it challenging to strike a lasting equilibrium. In their enlightening new book, ‘The Health and Wealth Paradox’, Ankush Datar and Mihir Patki break down this misleading notion, offering a compelling framework for attaining comprehensive success. This innovative work explores the intertwined principles of fitness and finance, equipping readers with practical strategies to excel in both realms without sacrificing one for the other.

Instead of providing superficial solutions or one-size-fits-all advice, the authors emphasize that the realms of health and wealth possess core similarities. By leveraging insights from one area to enhance the other, readers can discover a synergistic method for boosting their physical and financial health. The book simplifies the complexities of understanding nutrition labels and financial documents, while also illustrating how to utilize the compounding effects of time in both fitness regimens and investment plans.

Published by HarperCollins India, ‘The Health and Wealth Paradox’ will be released on 2 January on SoftCover, ThePrint’s online platform for launching non-fiction books.

Praising the book Jitendra Chouksey, founder and CEO of fitness brand, FITTR, said, “A brilliant take on how health and wealth follow the same timeless principles. Simple, practical, inspiring.”

Ankush Datar, a seasoned investment expert with eight years of experience in portfolio management, offers a distinctive viewpoint in this book. A dedicated marathon runner and weightlifter for over 15 years, Datar is committed to weaving fitness into his daily life. He has also made significant contributions to financial media, podcasts, and health-tech blogs, frequently examining the intersections of psychology, health, and investing.

Mihir Patki, the co-author and fellow investment specialist, enriches the narrative with his vast expertise in capital markets, personal finance, and nutrition. An MBA graduate from the University of Oxford and a chartered accountant, Patki has led boutique advisory firms and co-founded Multipie, a successful investor social network acquired by ICICI Securities. His comprehensive perspective on wellness and wealth management makes him an ideal partner for this endeavor.

Speaking about the authors and their new endeavour, Monika Halan, author and personal finance writer, said, “‘I want to compliment Ankush and Mihir for the great execution of what should be an obvious idea, but isn’t! That health and wealth are two sides of a coin and must be looked after simultaneously is expertly communicated in the book. I see this helping many families in their money and health journey.”

With its thoughtful insights and practical tools, ‘The Health and Wealth Paradox’ offers readers a blueprint to achieve their best lives, proving that health and wealth can not only coexist but also amplify one another.
