#MeToo Movement

The #MeToo movement has finally arrived in India, with countless survivors using Twitter and Facebook to name and shame the men who have allegedly sexually harassed or assaulted them – at the workplace and elsewhere. The movement has seen a tremendous outpouring of solidarity for the victims, and demands for the accused men to face action.

Among those facing accusations are union minister of state for external affairs M.J. Akbar, actor Alok Nath, author Chetan Bhagat and several journalists, advertising professionals and comedians.

ThePrint brings you extensive, in-depth coverage of the movement.
