The lead cartoon by Keshav in The Hindu, pokes fun at Rahul Gandhi’s constant disappearances when the opposition needs him the most, in this case a tour of southeast Asia.

Muthu’s cartoon in The Hindu, mocks the fact that all of MDMK’s and Vaiko’s political alliances have suffered terrible defeats over the years.

The farmer’s march in Maharashtra is the predominant subject across cartoons. Satish Acharya in Sify pays tribute to the farmers who have walking for days to make their grievances heard, while Manjul in Mid-Day showed how Mumbai has been halted by the march.

In his cartoon, Irfan mocks the government’s attempts to stop banks from being cheated like in the case of Nirav Modi.
