Kirtish Bhatt takes a jibe at the RBI’s decision to increase repo rate amid rising inflation. RBI raised the benchmark repo rate by 50 basis points to 4.9 per cent. The central bank’s decision comes amid geo-political uncertainties over the war in Ukraine, continuing supply-chain disruptions and rising energy and food prices.
