Maharajganj (UP) Apr 19 (PTI) A 45-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son were killed on Saturday, when a generator got detached from a pick-up vehicle and struck their motorcycle in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district, police said on Sunday.

Both were seriously injured in the accident. With the help of an ambulance, local residents took them to a hospital, where doctors declared both of them dead.

The deceased have been identified as Lakshman Kushwaha (18) and Ramavati Kushwaha (45), residents of the Kushinagar district.

Laxman was going to visit his relatives in a village on Saturday evening, SHO Madan Mohan Mishra said, and added that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination. PTI COR NAV MNK MNK
