Separately, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading a Yoga Day event in Kolkata.
The annual global event underscores collective physical resilience and mental well-being.
The vice president will travel to the border village of Lukung to inspect ongoing development initiatives under the Vibrant Villages Programme. The central scheme aims to improve infrastructure and stem migration from remote border areas.
Radhakrishnan will interact directly with local Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to review grassroots economic empowerment initiatives.
Later in the afternoon, the vice president will visit the war memorial to lay a wreath and pay his respects to the armed forces personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
