Guwahati, Sep 5 (PTI) Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to arrive in Assam on Sunday on a two-day visit, during which he will attend a convocation ceremony and lay the foundation for various projects, officials said.
Radhakrishnan will land at Guwahati airport around 10 am on Sunday.
During the day, he will attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Geetanagar College at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra, and the convocation ceremony of Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences at Jyoti-Bishnu Antorjalik Kala Mandir, they said.
Radhakrishnan will visit the Kamakhya temple to pay obeisance on Monday morning.
He will also attend a civic reception and lay the foundation for various projects during a programme at Gauhati University Convention Centre on Monday.
Officials did not share details of the projects.
