Lucknow, Oct 29 (PTI) A meeting of the state executive committee of the Uttar Pradesh BJP will review organisational work and advance the party’s future action plan on Friday, a senior party leader said.

Addressing an office-bearers’ meeting at the party headquarters, BJP state general secretary Dharampal Singh stressed detailed preparations, teamwork and close coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the meeting on Friday.

The meeting should be organised in a disciplined and systematic manner, with meticulous planning, and its message should reach across Uttar Pradesh, Singh said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the meeting at the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University here, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will deliver the concluding address, the BJP said in a statement.

State BJP president and Union minister Pankaj Chaudhary, who will chair the meeting, has directed party leaders to ensure proper arrangements for registration, food, transport and other logistical requirements, assigning responsibilities for each task.

“The meeting would discuss the party’s organisational work, welfare schemes and key decisions of the Centre and the state government, along with initiatives related to service, good governance and the welfare of the poor, through a political resolution. The party would also announce its future agenda,” Chaudhary said.

State BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde, co-in-charges Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Anant Ojha and Pradeep Verma, deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, and other senior leaders are scheduled to attend the meeting, the statement said.

The participants will also include the party’s national and state office-bearers, state executive committee members, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, candidates who contested the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2022 Assembly elections, and regional and district-level functionaries, the statement said. PTI KIS ARI
