Lucknow, Apr 22 (PTI) BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Wednesday said he will develop his assembly constituency as a cultural, religious and spiritual capital.
Singh represents the Sarojini Nagar seat of Lucknow in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Inaugurating a ‘Dharm Utsav’ (religious festival) with Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal in the constituency, Singh said he has renovated and beautified about 220 temples here as part of his commitment to the people.
“I pledge to develop Sarojini Nagar as a cultural, religious and spiritual capital in Lucknow. Development with happiness is my commitment to the people of the constituency,” the MLA said.
Singh also added that he will launch a special Yatra for ‘Khatu Shyam’ temple devotees from his assembly seat on the lines of a similar initiative he organised for pilgrims who wished to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. PTI NES PRK
