Panaji, Sep 5 (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Goa on Saturday evening on a three-day visit during which he will chair the 28th meeting of the Western Zonal Council here.

Shah was received by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with his state cabinet colleagues and Goa BJP chief Damodar Naik.

The Union minister will be chairing a meeting on Goa- related subjects with various divisions of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs at 11 am on Sunday, followed by a press conference on narcotics at 2 pm, an official release said.

Later, Shah will inaugurate the new office of the Bharatiya Janata Party near Panaji at 4 pm, after which he will address the party MLAs and core committee members.

On Monday, he will chair the Western Zonal Council meeting. PTI RPS KRK
