Lucknow (UP), Apr 23 (PTI) Two men allegedly died by suicide in separate incidents in the district on Thursday, police said.

In the first incident, Rajesh (38), a resident of Nizamkheda in Unnao district, was found hanging from a mango tree near Palehnda village, police said.

According to officials, information was received from his father-in-law, following which a police team reached the spot and initiated necessary action.

Preliminary inquiry suggests that Rajesh used a rope to hang himself from the tree, they said.

In another incident, Rambalak Saini (44), originally from Gaura village in Unnao and residing at his in-laws’ house in Bahru village for the past several years, was found hanging from a tree using an electric cable.

Police said the information was provided by his wife. Rambalak is survived by two minor sons aged around five and seven years.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem after conducting inquest proceedings. PTI KIS DV DV
