Chaibasa (Jharkhand), May 11 (PTI) Two persons, including a minor, were killed and six others injured when their vehicle overturned in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, while returning from a wedding party on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred in Udhan village under the Manoharpur Police Station limits when the driver lost control of the vehicle while taking a sharp turn, and it overturned, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Manoharpur) Jaydeep Lakra said.
The victims, residents of Baranga village, were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony in the nearby Sameej village in Anandpur block when the accident took place, the officer said.
The six injured were taken to a nearby Community Health Centre for treatment, he added. PTI BS BDC
