The accident occurred around 11 pm on Wednesday when the car was travelling from Amber Fort towards Jal Mahal. The driver was allegedly drunk, they said.

The car first hit a scooter near Maota before ramming into a motorcycle in Amber Ghati. The impact was so severe that the car and the motorcycle fell into a roadside ditch.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Amer) Prateek Singh said Shoeb, 26, a resident of Ramganj who was riding the motorcycle, died on the spot.

Sahil, 25, a resident of Amber who was riding the scooter, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the trauma centre of Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Thursday.

Three others, identified as Kaleemuddin, Sohel and Tarun, sustained injuries and were admitted to the hospital.

The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after post-mortem examinations on Thursday.

Singh said three people were travelling in the car and were allegedly under the influence of alcohol, with beer cans being found inside the vehicle.
