Sultanpur (UP), Oct 31 (PTI) Two men were killed on Saturday after a roadways bus collided with their motorcycle on the Lucknow-Ballia highway in the Kadipur area of Sultanpur district, police said.
The deceased were identified as Deepak Vishwakarma (21) and Mukesh (27), both residents of Daulatpur village under the Kadipur police station limits.
According to police, the two were travelling for furniture-related work when a roadways bus heading from Sultanpur towards Kadipur collided with their motorcycle near Padarthpur Upadhyay village.
The impact threw both men onto the road, leaving them with critical head injuries. They died on the spot, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the bus involved in the accident has been seized, they added. PTI COR NAV MDO
