Gurugram, Jul 25 (PTI) Two warehouse employees were arrested on Saturday for allegedly stealing five high-value mobile phones worth Rs 3.45 lakh from a logistics hub in Gurugram, officials said.

The police arrested Nikhil Kashyap and Anish Mandal, both natives of Bihar, who were staying together in Gurugram.

According to police, the hub in-charge of Instakart Services Pvt Ltd lodged a complaint on Friday, alleging that five high-value mobile phones had gone missing from the company’s warehouse in Sector 67A over the previous 10 to 15 days. Following this, a case was registered at Sector 65 police station.

Police recovered four stolen Apple iPhones and one Android mobile phone, worth around Rs 3.45 lakh, from them.

During the interrogation, the accused allegedly admitted to misusing their positions at the warehouse to steal the mobile phones over a period of 10-15 days, a senior police officer said. PTI COR SMV SHS
