Noida, Apr 20 (PTI) Two separate fire incidents were reported from different parts of Noida on Monday, but there were no casualties or injuries, officials said.

According to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar, a fire broke out in a company located in Sector 6 under Phase 1 in the morning.

“Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the situation was brought under control. No injury or casualty was reported. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire,” he said.

In another incident, a fire erupted in a heap of plastic waste and other materials in Phase 2 around 2 pm, the officer said.

“Six fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames and the fire was controlled by the firefighting team. There was no loss of life or injury reported in this incident as well,” he added.

Authorities said timely response by the fire department ensured that both incidents were contained without any major damage. PTI COR KIS PRK
