Indore, May 26 (PTI) The number of coronavirus cases touched four in Indore in Madhya Pradesh after two persons, including an elderly woman, were detected with the ailment, officials said on Monday.

“A 72-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man have tested positive for coronavirus. The elderly woman had recently returned from Goa. The two are not showing severe symptoms and are in home isolation,” District Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr BS Saitya told reporters here.

“A health department team is tracing people who recently came in contact with the two infected individuals. COVID-19 testing will be conducted on them if necessary. In the past three days, a total of four people have tested positive for coronavirus in Indore district,” he said.

Since January, 11 COVID-19 patients have been found in the district, one of whom died, the official said. PTI HWP LAL BNM
